Several years ago we’ve departed on the mission to deliver AFFORDABLE wheelchair-accessible vans to our Community. Our mission is to help find a transportation solution that will fit your needs and be affordable.
Story: Before we started I could not find anything reasonably priced in Florida, so we had to bring the vehicle from “Up North”. That was the 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan Rear entry. It was so Rusted on the bottom that it was not safe to drive. After several weeks of grinding and welding – we decided that it has to be a better way for people to purchase a wheelchair van. This is simply a necessity, not a luxury and it should not be priced like one.
How do we compete? Even though the largest mobility association is in Tampa (our town) we are not a member. It takes a lot of money to become one and recurring annual dues are expensive. Also, big modifiers: BraunAbility and VMI put strict requirements on their dealers such as air-conditioned showrooms, quotas and minimal inventory levels on products they sell. This cost tens of thousands of dollars so it is reflected in the price of those dealers.
